Glam Camp Sampling Program:
The Glam Camp street teams were everywhere that Teens were! They distributed 10,000 Glam Camp gym bags to exit audiences at the Taylor Swift Fearless Concerts in L.A and New York, the So You Think You Can Dance Tour in L.A., to participants of the Miss New York and Miss Ohio Teen Pageant and on 11 college campuses in New York and Pennsylvania. The locations chosen coincide with Rite Aid’s largest concentration of high volume stores.

The sampling program was completely coordinated and executed by Cosmetic Promotions Inc. We secured the vendors, the bags and all the venues for distribution.

Glam Camp Back to School Demonstrations:
Four non-compete vendors shared a 200 store event featuring professional make-up artists demonstrating and applying products to teens. The events were promoted on websites geared to Teens to get them in the door. More than 3,300 makeovers were performed with a 67% closure rate for over 2,100 unit sales. All makeup artists were secured and trained by the CosPro Agency (a division of Cosmetic Promotions). Each makeup artist received a kit with everything they needed to perform the event, including signs and a beauty basket that customers could enter to win.

Glam Camp Magazine Program:
Cosmetic Promotions created and secured a 2 page spread in a Teen Publication (CosmoGirl and Seventeen Magazine) that supported an in-store display of six brands. To encourage sales, teens could receive a FREE Glam Camp bag by mail via the Single Check Rebate program. To further promote the event, Cosmetic Promotions updated the website each year and posted the mail-in offer on websites and social media to encourage sales. Over 4.9 million pieces of featured product were sold during the 2 month event and over 14,000 teens qualified for a FREE bag.
